A bold display font, designed for high impact graphics with a touch of darkness
Created by Irma Binoux, this incised serif font with sharp endings has a humanist sans base and heaps of attitude that will turn up the volume to any design. It features alternate characters to switch up the look, opentype ligatures and multi-lingual accents support, as well as occult-related symbols like planets, zodiac signs, alchemical symbols and crosses, with a total of 267 glyphs. It draws inspiration from vintage horror movie posters, styling and pushing the letterforms to create something unique that could work both for elegantly dark themes & straight textbook horror, with all flavours of spooky in between.
The name is inspired by Pagan and Satanic traditions and holidays (sabbaths), mixed with the concept of “succubus”, playing with the seductive aspect of the type, and adding a ‘spellbook written in latin’ flair.
